The plan this year is to cruise a portion of the Leeds and Liverpool canal from Foulridge eastwards over a portion of the Pennines and through Leeds and then on to the Aire and Calder the Calder and Hebble ‘navigations’, turning around at Cooper Bridge and returning to our starting point. We will cover 151 miles and operate 134 locks and 68 movable bridges in just a little over 13 days.
